A DREAM MAKER
Evelyn Lee (李依霖, b. 1998) is a Taiwan-born artist, photographer, and filmmaker based between New York City and Taipei.
Rooted in painting and storytelling, her practice moves between authenticity and introspection across photography and film. Inspired by classical music, literature, and family, her early painterly works evolved into narrative explorations through portraiture, documentary, darkroom techniques, Super8mm, and 16mm films.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Design in Media and Communication Design and an Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography + Media & Society from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), completed in 2024.
