Afra(非非) is a Blue Point Siamese cat that I adopted from Philadelphia in September 2023. Before, I had considered getting a Sulcata tortoise, a Bichon Frise, or a Doberman, but never thought about having a cat. Certainly, I never imagined sharing my space with a little life so soon. After moving, my roommate had a Maine Coon named Airi, and her friend was fostering two cats: a seal point Siamese and a British Shorthair. During this time, I was captivated by Gabriel García Márquez's 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' and named the foster cats Arcadio and Aureliano — Thus, life in a multi-cat household with names starting with A began!
