A DREAM MAKER

Evelyn Lee (李依霖)(1998) is an artist, photographer,
and filmmaker born in Taiwan and currently based
in New York City.

Lee’s areas of study and artistic practice encompass
photography, film, music, literature, classical painting,
and media/communication design.

As her skills progressed, Lee shifted her focus toward
exploring the interplay between narrative development,
darkroom techniques, and shooting moving images
in Super8mm and 16mm formats.

Lee completed her Bachelor of Design degree in media design
and worked in a commercial studio as a student
and intern for over two years.

In 2024, she completed her Master of Fine Arts degree
in Photography + Media & Society at Maryland Institute
College of Art (MICA).
